The work BATERÍA consists of eleven photographs taken by me and nine pages with text fragments and images from different sources (internet, literature, e-mails).
The photographs show an area with artificial rocks that were built with concrete by the Spanish military a long time ago in order to conceal a coastal battery controlling the Strait of Gibraltar.
The text fragments touch upon different aspects in relation to this area and the coastal battery. The texts are in Spanish, English and German and there is a handout with translations into English.
