The site-specific installation WINDOWS was developed for the Galleri Vasli Souza. The gallery is situated in the basement and the windows look out on a passageway and a blank wall.
I photographed the windows very meticously and then montaged a view onto trees and sky onto it. This image is then printed on duratrans. The windows are converted into light boxes and the two images are mounted into the windows.
From the inside the gallery, you see a never changing late afternoon scenery and from the outside, its the view into the technical side of the lightbox.
